With her closest relatives gathering together, Elizabeth Taylor was laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, CA on Thursday afternoon (March 24).
Having passed away the previous day, the late screen legend and her loved ones arrived in a procession of five black stretch limos at the mausoleum burial grounds - a place in which Liz's close pal Michael Jackson calls his final resting spot.
Miss Taylor's family-exclusive funeral comes after she succumbed to congestive heart failure at Cedars Sinai at the age of 79-years-old.
Upon her passing, Elizabeth's publicist Sally Morrison said, "She was surrounded by her children: Michael Wilding, Christopher Wilding, Liza Todd and Maria Burton."
Meanwhile, Taylor's son Michael Wilding Jr added, "We know, quite simply, that the world is a better place for Mom having lived in it. Her legacy will never fade, her spirit will always be with us, and her love will live forever in our hearts."
